Leading Jacksonville to victory were Aaron Nixon and Devin Barksdale. Nixon scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Barksdale scored 26 points along with two steals. Barksdale continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Da monte Sinclair was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
Weaver now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Jacksonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
Weaver will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. As for Jacksonville, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Plainview at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Plainview sitting on six straight wins and Jacksonville on three.
