Cerritos' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Makai Ortiz. He also set a new season high mark in total tackles with six.
Don Lugo's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-4. As for Cerritos, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
