The Tulpehocken Trojans were the 51-48 winner over the Upper Perkiomen Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Tulpehocken fell 54-45 to Upper Perkiomen on Saturday. Tulpehocken has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tulpehocken's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aidan Schwalm, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds, and Marcus Matias who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. Schwalm scored a full 35.6% of Tulpehocken's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Tulpehocken's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Upper Perkiomen, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tulpehocken will take on Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Perkiomen is on the road again on Saturday and play against Kutztown at 1:30 p.m. on December 9th.
