Softball Recap: Indio Wins Going Away Against Twentynine Palms

Indio's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Twentynine Palms Wildcats as they made off with a 13-1 win. The Rajahs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Kaila Wilson looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Audra Higgins, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeda Diaz, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Indio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Twentynine Palms only managed six hits.

Indio's record is now 15-11. As for Twentynine Palms, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-7.
