It was another big night for Matthew Kapfer, who scored 31 points along with eight rebounds for Fordham Prep. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kapfer has scored all season. Matthew Herlick was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight assists and two blocks.
St. Edmund Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Fordham Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
St. Edmund Prep will be playing at home against Cardinal Spellman at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Edmund Prep is facing Cardinal Spellman at the right time seeing as Cardinal Spellman is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Fordham Prep is on the road again on Friday and plays Xavier at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Fordham Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
