Burton Adventist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jadon Henderson out in front who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Henderson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Diego Bracho, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
When it comes to explaining why St. Paul's Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Landon Applon. Despite the final result, he scored 35 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Applon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Maumus, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Burton Adventist Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for St. Paul's Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burton Adventist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Heritage Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
