Tavion Steen was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Young Men's Leadership Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Burroughs, who scored 10 points.
The last time Jones won on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now lost five straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Young Men's Leadership Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.
Jones is on the road again on Friday and play against Ben Bolt at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st. Ben Bolt's defense has only allowed 23 points per game this season, so Jones' offense will have their work cut out for Jones. As for Young Men's Leadership Academy, they will square off against Sunnybrook Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sunnybrook Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 74 points per game.
