Kaibara scored 13 points along with eight assists and four steals, while Owens scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Owens is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gordon, who scored 11 points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Rancho Solano Prep struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Phoenix Country Day pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.
Phoenix Country Day pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phoenix Country Day will take on the Heat at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Highland Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Eagles are ranked 19th). As for Rancho Solano Prep, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
