After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three matches, Moon Valley finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of Greenway by a score of 1-0. Moon Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Greenway apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Greenway, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Moon Valley will head out on the road to challenge Yuma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shadow Mountain and Greenway are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
