Sisters will take on Philomath/Alsea at home at 7:00 PM on Thursday. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Sisters and four for Philomath/Alsea.
Sisters have to be aching after a bruising 7-30 loss to Cascade last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Sisters a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Philomath/Alsea ended up a good deal behind Sweet Home when they played, losing 14-32.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
