East Rutherford might be getting used to good results now that the team have seven wins in a row. They took the game and then some with a 48-0 win last Friday over R-S Central. Among those leading the charge for East Rutherford was senior Cameron Simmons, who picked up 103 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs. Simmons has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, South Point put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on East Gaston to the tune of 42-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
East Rutherford took a serious blow against South Point the last time the two teams met, falling 7-55. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
