Austin Catholic had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Michigan School for the Deaf Tartars as they made off with a 44-23 victory. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Austin Catholic pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Michigan School for the Deaf, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin Catholic will welcome Cardinal Mooney Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Michigan School for the Deaf, they will face off against Davis Aerospace Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
