The St. Cloud Bulldogs will square off against the Centennial Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Cloud is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
St. Cloud is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Tohopekaliga.
Addison Felblinger made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 21 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelis Reyes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zhyra De La Cruz, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
St. Cloud was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Centennial hadn't done well against Wellington recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Wolverines. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 25th.
Makayla Megnauth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Serenity Robinson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
St. Cloud's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
St. Cloud was able to grind out a solid win over Centennial in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
