The Southern Christian Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They took a 69-55 bruising from Tuscaloosa Home Educators. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Tuscaloosa Home Educators to victory were Caleb Farley and Jose Giron. Farley scored 14 points, while Giron scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylan Burt, who scored ten points.
Southern Christian dropped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-11.
Southern Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tuscaloosa Home Educators won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
