The Sandpoint Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 64-60 win over Kellogg. Given Sandpoint's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Kellogg is ranked 60th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dani Schillereff, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Jerome, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Sandpoint pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kellogg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
