While Aaron Tena delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Wray. Tena turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 86 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 35 yards and one touchdown.
This is the second loss in a row for Wray and nudges their season record down to 2-2. Tena and the Eagles will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Holyoke at 1:00 p.m. on October 4.

Thomson Posts Huge Game in 28-27 Win
Yuma (84) came into Friday's contest against Torrington (16) with a disadvantage in their respective state rankings, but Christian Thomson wasn't bothered. Thomson was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 146 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.
The win was the third in a row for Yuma, bringing their record up to 3-0. Coming up, Thomson and the Outlaws will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brush at 7:00 p.m.
