The Parkwood Wolf Pack were the  53-51 winner over the Mount Pleasant Tigers when they last played one another  back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Parkwood fell just short of Mount Pleasant by a score of  66-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did  last Tuesday (59), Parkwood still had to take the loss.
  Cameron McKinney  and  Malik Paulhill certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss.  McKinney   scored 26 points, while  Paulhill  scored 15 points along with eight  rebounds. The  matchup was  McKinney 's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Brooklyn Johnson, who  scored five points.
 Parkwood now  has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mount Pleasant, their victory  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-6.
 Parkwood won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Sun Valley at 5:30  p.m.  on December 28, 2023. Sun Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.7  points per game. Mount Pleasant will finish  2023 at home by hosting Central Cabarrus at 8:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Central Cabarrus is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
