After a dominant win in their contest last week, Fairfield/Augusta were humbled on Friday. They ended up forfeiting their contest against Valier 0-2. The defeat was a vexing one since Fairfield/Augusta were expected to win based on their state ranking. The game pushed Fairfield/Augusta down to 3-1 and pulled Valier up to the reverse at 1-3.
Next week Fairfield/Augusta take on Cut Bank at 7:00 PM. As for Valier, they will face off against Valley Christian.
