Green Mountain hasn't had much luck against Golden recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rams will face off against the Demons at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Green Mountain turned things around against Littleton on Monday. They blew past the Lions 10-4.
Miles Flanagan looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Corbin Wade was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Ryan Douty also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Golden came out on top against Wheat Ridge on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Demons never let the Farmers get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Jonah Jefferson looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Golden got a massive performance out of Dylan Paulson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Hetrick, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Golden kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive contests.
Green Mountain's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-16. As for Golden, their record now sits at 18-2.
