Last Saturday, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics was able to grind out a solid win over Coastal HomeSchool, taking the game 36-23. Given Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 131st in South Carolina, while Coastal HomeSchool is ranked 414th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Caroline Mcgee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Mcgee is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Dundon, who scored four points along with 17 rebounds and five steals.
Non Varsity Opponent posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They really took it to Compass Charter for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-20 victory on the road. With Non Varsity Opponent ahead 37-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 91-158.
