After a string of eight wins, Buckhorn's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Fort Payne Wildcats, falling 15-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bucks have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Buckhorn's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Fort Payne, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-10.
