Caledonia had a senior duo take command as Jaiden Googins scored 24 points and Laul Abiel scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Abiel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Corbin Raffler, who scored six points along with three steals.
Caledonia now has a winning record of 7-6. As for West Ottawa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Caledonia will head out on the road to challenge the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Michigan (Grand Haven is ranked 95th, while the Fighting Scots are ranked 109th). As for West Ottawa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Kentwood is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
