The Onsted Wildcats lost against the Madison Trojans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Onsted fell 36-28 to Madison.
Onsted's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Karlie Kimerer, who scored nine points along with five rebounds, and Maddie Borders who scored four points. Kimerer scored a full 32.1% of Onsted's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Onsted's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Madison, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.
Onsted will head out on the road to face off against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will be home for the holidays to greet Tecumseh at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
