If Legion Collegiate Academy was riding high fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Lancaster last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers fell just short of the Hillcrest Rams by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Legion Collegiate Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Cornwell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Cornwell also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Legion Collegiate Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matches.
