The Delphi Community Oracles won the last time they faced the Frontier Falcons, and things went their way on Saturday too. Delphi Community came out on top against Frontier by a score of 46-35.
Delphi Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Walker Jones, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Jones hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Almager, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Delphi Community is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. As for Frontier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delphi Community will challenge Rensselaer Central at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Frontier, they will head out on the road to challenge West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Central has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30.
