Pinnacle Classical Academy won the last time they faced Community Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 14-3 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Evie Hawkins was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Riley Lawrence was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Maggie Gomez-Huffman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Pinnacle Classical Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .360 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Pinnacle Classical Academy pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Community Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Pinnacle Classical Academy and Community Christian Academy will both be playing Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
