After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockvale, St. George was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the First Assembly Christian Crusaders a 7-0 shutout. Considering St. George's have won four matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

St. George's is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for First Assembly Christian, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, St. George's will take on Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evangelical Christian's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for First Assembly Christian, they will face off against Lakeland Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
