Ellis' win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 22-4 record last season and are now at 4-8.
Ellis won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Russell at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. Russell is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, they will be playing at home against Great Bend at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Bend presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Thomas More Prep-Marian in Kansas (Great Bend is ranked 58th, while Thomas More Prep-Marian is ranked 220th).
