The Anderson Indians posted their biggest win since December 20, 2023 on Saturday. They breezed by Logansport on the road to the tune of 74-42. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, as Anderson did.
Jacelyn Starks continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 41 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gabby Douglass, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 assists.
When it comes to explaining why Logansport lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lydia Goad. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points. Goad hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Golda Kitchell, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Logansport, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will challenge New Castle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logansport, they will head out on the road to take on Twin Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Lakes is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
