The Morgan Trojans waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Ben Lomond with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Morgan also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Morgan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eva Birkeland, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Abby Titus was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Morgan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Ben Lomond, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ben Lomond, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Summit at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully South Summit focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday.
