Proctor is 4-0 against Holland Patent since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Proctor Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holland Patent Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. Proctor is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Back in December of 2023, Proctor had to suffer through a rough 46-18 loss at the hands of Kennedy Catholic. While losing is never fun, Proctor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 485th, while Kennedy Catholic is ranked 147th).
Meanwhile, Holland Patent scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Adirondack on the road to the tune of 57-29. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Holland Patent has managed all season.
It was another big night for Terralyn McLaughlin, who scored 19 points along with eight steals and five assists. McLaughlin is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Michaela Cushman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Holland Patent, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Proctor skirted past Holland Patent 42-39 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Does Proctor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Holland Patent turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
