Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden View Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gianna Acocella, who posted seven points in addition to six assists and six steals. Acocella has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Clark, who put up six points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Addenbrooke Classical Academy over Twin Peaks Classical Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Addenbrooke Classical Academy blew Twin Peaks Classical Academy out of the water with a 51-12 final score. The Mustangs pushed the score to 41-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Timberwolves had little chance of recovering from.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy's win came from a few key players Golden View Classical Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Peyton Trujillo, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten boards, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. Lucia Rodriguez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
