Shell Lake won the last time they faced Unity and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lakers were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won six matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Shell Lake has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Unity, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shell Lake will head out to square off against McDonell Central at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Unity, they will venture away from home to face off against Baldwin-Woodville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
