The biggest upset of the week belonged to Grand Terrace, who took down 596th ranked Fontana, 28-21. Ralph Mohammed threw for 161 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 114 yards during the win.
Colton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Sunkist. Earlier in the week, the Yellowjackets defeated Bloomington 37-8.
Erik Brown was the best wideout in the league this week as Summit fell to Kaiser. Brown tallied 5 receptions for 87 yards. Damien Alloway helped Summit's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 31 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Keshon Flemings of the SkyHawks is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,009. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cruz Duke. The Grand Terrace star has 21 catches for 506 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Grand Terrace takes on Colton. Harold Strauss' team is currently in second, while Chris Mailo's team is in third.
The league will see a high scoring game when Grand Terrace and the Yellowjackets face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Grand Terrace comes in having scored 223 this season, while Colton has scored 136. Grand Terrace scored 28 points last week as it defeated the Steelers.
Grand Terrace moved up to 605 from 652 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sunkist. Grand Terrace was able to move up by beating Fontana 28-21.
