Softball Recap: Crest Ridge Has No Trouble Against Sweet Springs

Crest Ridge owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Sweet Springs Greyhounds. Considering the Cougars have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Crest Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sweet Springs, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Coming up, Crest Ridge will welcome Wellington-Napoleon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Sweet Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
