Aycock took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Goldsboro on Tuesday. C.B. Aycock has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Goldsboro found their leader in underclassman Aziyah Boyer, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nashiyah Williams, who scored 16 points along with 6 steals.
C.B. Aycock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Goldsboro, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
C.B. Aycock will take on Fairmont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Goldsboro, they will be playing at home against Neuse Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
