Scripps Ranch won the last time they faced Rancho Bernardo and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Broncos. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Scripps Ranch not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rancho Bernardo between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Scripps Ranch's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rancho Bernardo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Scripps Ranch will take on Eastlake at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rancho Bernardo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Poway at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
