Duncan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Jones, who scored 11 points along with 9 steals.
Meanwhile, Alabama School for the Deaf took a serious blow against Victory Christian on Thursday, falling 69-20. Alabama School for the Deaf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-4.
Winterboro's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Winterboro against Alabama School for the Deaf when the teams last played back in February as the team secured a 75-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winterboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
