Atholton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Lyons, who on his way to 19 points. Lyons continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Demarcus Lamot, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.
Griffin Garner was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds for Howard.
