The American Leadership Academy Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Pelion Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Leadership Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, American Leadership Academy came up short against Providence Athletic Club and fell 7-4. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hayden Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since March 1st. The team also got some help courtesy of Breana Borges, who got four hits from her four at bats.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Pelion's pitcher stepped up to hand Batesburg-Leesville a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Pelion, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Emma Jackson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Alexia Hansen, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Pelion was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Pelion, their record now sits at 8-4.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. American Leadership Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Pelion struggles in that department as they've averaged .393. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

American Leadership Academy suffered a grim 18-4 defeat to Pelion when the teams last played on Thursday. Can American Leadership Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
