The Liberty Union Lions were the 59-50 winner over the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Liberty Union received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 60-45 to New Hope Christian Academy. Liberty Union just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Williams, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tomas Winter, who scored ten points.
Liberty Union's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for New Hope Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Liberty Union will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hamilton Township at 7:30 p.m. As for New Hope Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
