Baseball Recap: North Forrest Beats Collins for Their Third Straight Win

North Forrest entered their tilt with Collins on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 15-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Landon Hayes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Hayes was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, North Forrest let Chancellor Rogers and Logan Hall run wild. Rogers went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Hall scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Hall has become a key player for North Forrest: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Levi Thompson was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

North Forrest's record is now 6-4. As for Collins, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

North Forrest will have a chance to go back-to-back against Collins: the pair will be back at it again later today.
