Maumelle has won four straight games at home, while Searcy has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Hornets will welcome the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Maumelle will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Maumelle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past White Hall 55-20 on Friday. With the Hornets ahead 41-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Searcy faced Robinson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The game between the Lions and the Senators didn't end well, with the Lions falling 46-29. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.
The match pitted two dominant s against one another in Kayden Hickman and Isiah Reese. Reese had a solid game and made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss). Meanwhile, Hickman was balling out in the loss, making 15 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Maumelle has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 384 total yards per game. However, it's not like Searcy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 399.8 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Maumelle barely slipped by Searcy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 24-23. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
