Sho-Ban has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. After both having extra time off, the Sho-Ban Chiefs and the Murtaugh Red Devils will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on December 29th. Sho-Ban will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Murtaugh is ranked 26th).
Two weeks ago, Sho-Ban took a serious blow against Grace Lutheran, falling 54-27.
Meanwhile, Murtaugh scored the most points they've had all season to find success two weeks ago. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 73-45 victory over Glenns Ferry. The win was nothing new for Murtaugh as they're now sitting on five straight.
Sho-Ban now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Murtaugh, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Sho-Ban beat Murtaugh 53-42 in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. Will Sho-Ban repeat their success, or does Murtaugh have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
