PUYALLUP, Wash. -
Cascade Christian (Puyallup, Wash.) took an early lead against
Cashmere (Wash.) and held on for a 21-3 victory on Saturday.
The Cougars put up seven points in the opening frame. Cascade Christian scored on a
Jaelin Goldsmith touchdown pass to
Josh Seaton.
After taking the lead on a Goldsmith touchdown pass to Seaton in the first quarter, CC was up 7-0 at the half.
The Puyallup school expanded its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. The Cougars scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Hunter Austin.
Cascade Christian (1-0) will play a non-conference game against Montesano next week, while Cashmere (0-1) will take on Goldendale also in a non-conference game.
