The Skyline Vikings waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They had just enough and edged Oakwood Academy out 44-42. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Skyline has scored all season.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Lee, who scored 14 points. Jaiden Morton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Skyline pushed their record up to 23-4 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Oakwood Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.
Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oakwood Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
