The Thomas Jefferson Vikings were the 57-44 winner over the Brunswick Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Thomas Jefferson took a 77-60 bruising from Brunswick on Saturday. Thomas Jefferson just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Sampson, who scored 19 points. Carmell Mc Cloud was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brunswick, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Jefferson will take on Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brunswick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southampton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Southampton is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
