The Hamilton County Trojans lost against the Branford Buccaneers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hamilton County took a hard 25-6 fall against Branford.
Branford found their leader in underclassman Thomas Sikes, who threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Austin Malaguti, who gained 115 total yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Branford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Hamilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Branford will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th.
