The Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors won the last time they faced the Dawson School Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Eagle Ridge Academy really took it to Dawson School for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-27 win on the road.
Jaz Greenwood was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and 14 steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for she. The team also got some help courtesy of Carole Tamburino, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Eagle Ridge Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dawson School, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Ridge Academy will take on Far Northeast W at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dawson School, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Union Colony Prep at 4:30 p.m. on December 14th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Union Colony Prep is ranked 208th, while Dawson School is ranked 233rd).
