Vanguard Academy Beethoven's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by San Diego 60-21. Vanguard Academy Beethoven was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.
San Diego's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Casas, who scored 13 points. Casas continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Garcia, who scored 11 points.
Vanguard Academy Beethoven bumped their record down to 4-16 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for San Diego, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

As for San Diego, they will head out on the road to face off against Tuloso-Midway at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuloso-Midway is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
